Advanced Conducting Academy
The Advanced Conducting Academy gives experienced student conductors and working professionals the opportunity to work on masterpieces for Classical and large Romantic orchestra under the guidance of two veteran professional conductors, each with decades of teaching experience. Conductors receive approximately 210 minutes of podium time including instructional sessions with full orchestra and piano sextet, two general rehearsals and performance on two public concerts. MORE
Prelude Conducting Academy
Are you a novice conductor looking for your first workshop or a music educator interested in improving your conducting? Do you need great videos for graduate applications? Do you need coaching to prepare for auditions or competitions? Then consider the Institute’s innovative Prelude Conducting Academy. Up to 10 conductors will join Maestro Gambetta in scenic Kiato, Greece on the shores of the Mediterranean in the heart of historic Corinthia for 10 days of discovery, study and performance. MORE
Mastering Concertos Masterclass
The Institute will accept up to 8 conductors and 8 soloists (four panists and four violinists) for 11 days of instruction, rehearsal and performance. Conductors and soloists work 20 minutes daily with full orchestra plus 15 minutes daily with piano accompaniment on up to two complete concertos. Soloists also receive daily coaching from prominent master teachers. All conductors and soloists perform on one of two closing public concerts. Conductors find program details HERE.
